Tomorrow- Election day!

HEY!
I just have to share a few quick thoughts about Election day.

First, I admit. I have never voted. I have never really been into politics. I have recently been into learning and have become very interested. My friend Brianne has taken the time to help me learn and grow in this area. She is very smart and up to date on it all!

Here's the thing. I could sit here and tell you the mixed feelings about who I voted for. I did have some. I wouldn't back either candidate 100 percent from what I've learned, but like I said... I have just recently become interested.  I did have to make a choice though based on who I would back more and I did. I voted! It felt good to do my part. Of course, I still don't understand everything they claim/stand for..but I am so glad to have more information. I am proud that I voted and look forward to gaining more knowledge!

But that's not the main point of this blog. The point is this-
I have seen post after post for and against each candidate from friends and friends of friends. I have seen quite a few arguments about this subject too! I just want to say, even if no one reads this that no matter who wins tomorrow..we all need to remember this- We all have to stick together to change this Country. We can't just rely on politician's, rather you think the one elected was the right or wrong one. WE can make a difference, we can help make some changes. We all need to work together, as one! Let's not get all upset and fight over the outcome..what it is, is what it is. Let's find a way to work together and make this a better place to live! I know who I prefer to win, however if the other one does..that will just have to be fine. I'm not going to get on and bash anyone for their beliefs, who they voted for or let it get me down who ever wins. I don't think God controls everything, He let's us make our own choices... but I know He could control who wins..so I will just leave it up to him rather he wants to step in on this or not. I hope that all my friends can control what they post throughout the rest of this, remember that it is ok to state your opinion but everyone has the rights to theirs! Let's be careful what we post

BTW, My friend Brianne is such a good person. I just want to thank her so much for taking the time to help me and get me informed. She is a genuinely good person, we share a strong love of animals and she also makes jewelry so check her out at -  She's a well rounded person! I very much appreciate her help. https://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/pages/Port-Royal-Hidden-Treasures/124709157557551 I figured a little plug to hopefully help her is the least I can do for all she did to help me! :)

Hope this post in some way helps you remember to guard your tongue tomorrow and respect every one's beliefs!

  1. Kerrie,

Thank you, Girl. I'm so glad that you've exercised your right to vote! Everyone's vote matters, and regardless of political stance, women had to fight for the right to vote all the way up until 1920, so I'm glad you did it! Thank you for the kind mention, too. You do a great job on here, Lady.
